OUR INTERNATIONAL PRE-SCHOOL

No two nursery kids are the same. 
That’s why their learning can’t be either; it has to accommodate their unique learning style, talents, and personality. The JUMPING GYM METHOD  method is created to suit all preschoolers that come through our doors. 
MY  JUMPING GYM PRE-SCHOOL  is unique and taps into aspects of our wide-ranging curriculum to cater to the specific needs of the community it serves.

Our philosophy
The future belongs to people who will be able to marry high creativity and imagination with a hunger for knowledge and learning. 

We believe that the best way of developing these in young children is a combination of free and structured play, in beautiful and engaging preschool learning environments, and a program that constantly develops their minds across multiple areas.

We know that children develop at different rates across different areas. MY JUMPING GYM international kindergartens, we ensure that a child is advancing at their pace and level, not that of the group.


We also believe that play is the best way to learn – even if you’re learning advanced concepts in languages or math. 

That’s why our play-based nursery approach ensures that each JUMING GY KID is at least one (if not two) grade levels ahead of their peers when they leave us for primary school.

Language arts


The world of books and stories is introduced very early, in all the languages that we offer. Through stages, we improve reading and language skills step by step, so that by the time children are about four, they’re reading at levels generally thought to be suitable for five or six-year-olds.

Specific Areas...

Mathematics

A facility with numbers and love for math is developed through games – construction, water play, role play and much else, through all levels. All fun and games, but our four-year-olds can happily do simple addition and subtraction, in addition to counting in 5s and 10s – things required for much older kids!

Public speaking and confidence


It’s really about the ability to stand up in front of other children and talk about something – a favourite toy, or what they did on vacation. We help kids develop their confidence, and we also have our drama program, which is used for our two annual performances.

Writing

Writing skills are developed initially through a lot of tactile play, art, manipulating natural materials and progress through more traditional methods. Our project-based learning approach integrates writing into the program

Self expression

Our Art and Music programs encourage children to be themselves and express their ideas via different media and materials. Each school has an Art Studio, and music facilities and they are integrated into the core part of our program.

Science and technology


Through experimentation, questioning, and interacting with the environment, children are exposed to the natural world and some of the scientific principles that underpin it. Our strong technology program introduces algorithmic thinking, coding, use of technology and much else.

Understanding of the world


Our theme based program introduces children to different aspects of the world around them every day, giving them a growing appreciation and understanding of themselves, their environment and the people around them.

Logic and reasoning

Science, math, problem solving and much else depends on developing a strong ability to reason, and an understanding of logic. Through games, role play, stories and thought experiments, we enhance children’s abilities to think logically and solve problems.
Fundamental areas

The fundamental areas are core to early childhood and form the basis for development in the specific areas. All aspects of the program are guided by the development goals of the fundamental areas at every age.

Our proprietary Physical Development program focusses on structured exercises using specific equipment (think baby gym!) for the development of different core muscle groups, in addition to fine and gross motor skills.

Several of our schools have integrated multisport activities run by professionals, and where possible, swimming (from toddlers on) is integrated into our program.

Development of language and communication skills begins much before a child begins to speak.

The base for listening and understanding, and communicating continue to be built throughout the early years, and serves as a foundation for reading, writing, mathematics and much else.
